Cheap-Neckties.com Names Top Five Best Dressed NBA Players of 2011 – Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James Top the List

Cheap-Neckties.com Names Top Five Best Dressed NBA Players of 2011 – Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James Top the List

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) December 27, 2011

Cheap-Neckties.com, the San Francisco-based online neck tie retailer that regularly sells extra long ties to NBA players, today released this year’s anticipated list of the Top Five Best Dressed NBA Players. Honoring the basketball players who look great even when they’re off the court, the fashion mavens at Cheap-Neckties.com predict that their best-dressed player picks will set both trends and basketball records in 2012. Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant tops the list, followed by New York Knick Carmelo Anthony, the Miami Heat’s LeBron James, James’s fellow teammate Dwyane Wade and Memphis Grizzlie O.J. Mayo. To view the whole list and pictures of the players in their most stylish moments of 2011, visit: http://www.cheap-neckties.com/blog/wrapper.php?/archives/442-The-Five-Best-Dressed-NBA-Players-of-2011.html.

At 6’6”, Kobe Bryant is not an easy man to dress. When he changes out of his famous gold and purple #24 jersey, his big and tall clothes have to fit right, be comfortable and look sharp. The shooting guard partially grew up in Italy and a European sense of style clearly remains with him until this day. According to Cheap-Neckties.com, Bryant’s signature look is a pin-stripe suit, shirt and bold necktie. Kobe accessorizes his suit and tie looks with pocket squares and tie bars, all of which are available at Cheap-Neckties.com.

A winner everywhere he goes, the always-dapper Carmelo Anthony recently claimed in GQ magazine that he is the best dressed man in the NBA. Since moving to New York to join the Knicks, Anthony’s style game seems to have improved, perhaps because he now has better access to some of the best boutiques in the world. Anthony favors boldly colored, striped or paisley patterned ties. His favorite accessories include sunglasses, pocket squares and fedora hats.

LeBron James likes to look fashionable when he walks out of the locker room after a hard night’s work. When he cleans up, the trendsetting “king” can often be seen in cashmere V-neck sweaters and dress shirts worn with rolled up sleeves, typically displaying an over-sized designer wristwatch. James’s teammate Dwyane Wade has been seen wearing bow ties, button-down cardigans and bold neckties coupled with sleek v-necks. It’s a good look.

O.J. Mayo, the 6’4” guard for the Memphis Grizzlies, weighs 210 pounds. That’s a lot of man to dress. His three-piece suits always fit his fabulous frame, while fat Rolex watches and sophisticated frames are great accents.

Cheap-Neckties.com carries extra long ties that fit big and tall men beautifully. (When worn properly, a tie’s tip should fall near the center of a man’s belt buckle). In addition to neck and bow ties, the site carries other men’s accessories including scarves, pocket squares, cuff links and tie bars. Since this retailer opened its virtual doors it has sold XL length ties to numerous NBA stars.

Kids Clothes and More – Your Best Resource for Kids Clothing and Apparel

Kids Clothes and More – Your Best Resource for Kids Clothing and Apparel

(PRWEB) August 17, 2005

Great selection of casual kids clothes with lots of matching sibling sets. Kids Clothes and More carries lots of adorable children’s clothing from brands you recognize. Additionally, they have lots of coordinating sets so you can match your children’s outfits. For more information, please visit: http://www.kidsclothesandmore.com.

MERCHANDISE

The vast majority of their merchandise is casual kid’s clothing from toddler sizes through juniors. There are some day dresses but no formal clothes. There are a few choices for shoes and two lines of pajamas. The brands they carry include: Polo, Nautica, Hartstrings, Lilly Pulitzer, Anita G., Fresh Produce, Flap Happy, Mulberribush, Sara’s Prints and So Fun. None of these clothes are exclusive so you can often buy them elsewhere.

One thing that distinguishes this website from others is the number of coordinating sibling sets they offer. There are lots of sets that include items for boys and girls as well as older and younger children. Some of these sets even include matching outfits for mom as well. Each set usually includes a dress for girls, rompers for toddlers and a pants and t-shirt option for boys or girls. If you like to dress your kids in matching or complimentary outfits, or if you like mother/daughter outfits, this is a great website to check out. I don’t usually like to match my kids’ clothing, especially since I have a boy and girl. However, I did get them matching summer outfits last year. They loved being able to wear matching clothes and wanted to wear their outfits all of the time. Plus, we got some cute pictures.

Another thing I like about this website is that you can get some clothes off-season. If you are planning a winter vacation to someplace warm and your toddler outgrew all of his summer clothes, you can restock on the web site. For more information, please visit: http://www.kidsclothesandmore.com.

QUALITY

A lot of these brands have been around for a while and I have always found them to be good quality. I have always been satisfied with Mulberribush and Flap Doodles clothes and buy these brands frequently for my kids. For more information, please visit: http://www.kidsclothesandmore.com.

PRICING AND SALES

I almost always can find the clothes cheaper than in stores near me. Also, this website usually has all of the sizes and matching items. So, I sometimes buy through Kids Clothes and More if something I want isn’t available at my local store. For more information, please visit: http://www.kidsclothesandmore.com.

WEB SITE OPERATION

The web site loads quickly and operation is very intuitive. The clothes are divided into different categories, each of which links to a full directory, along with Search Results. For more information, please visit: http://www.kidsclothesandmore.com.

New Cheapism.com Research Identifies the Best Cheap Kids Clothes Stores for Back-to-School Shopping

New Cheapism.com Research Identifies the Best Cheap Kids Clothes Stores for Back-to-School Shopping

New York, NY (PRWEB) August 30, 2011

Frugal parents seeking a one-stop shop for back-to-school will find it at Sears, which carries a wide selection of cheap kids clothes. On the other hand, those looking for cheap school uniforms will have better luck at JC Penney. And those who simply want the cheapest choice? Well, that’s Walmart (no surprise there). Those are some of the findings of a survey by Cheapism.com, the only review site dedicated exclusively to finding quality, low-cost products. Cheapism’s team visited seven stores and checked the prices on hundreds of items to find the best cheap back-to-school clothes.

Cheapism’s shopping cart test compared the cost of outfitting a boy and a girl between 7 and 10 years old at Target, Kmart, Walmart, Sears, Old Navy, JC Penney, and Kohl’s. The list at each store included cheap kids shoes, shirts and hoodies, jeans, dress pants and dresses, uniforms, pajamas, and underwear. All that and more came to $ 218.36 at Walmart, compared with $ 705.13 at Kohl’s, the most expensive store. Cheapism’s kids clothes comparison chart details the prices of all the items at each store.

The comparison takes into account not just price but also factors such as the stores’ selection, clothing quality, coupons, and return policies. Higher prices at Kohl’s are tempered by frequent sales and a unique, hassle-free return policy. Old Navy delivers high quality across the board and proved the best bet for cheap kids shirts, while Target is Cheapism’s pick for cheap kids shoes. The online buying guide includes a ”winners chart” that breaks down the best kids clothes stores in each category.

Check Cheapism’s blog for more ways to save money on school supplies and other necessities.

Follow Cheapism on Twitter, Facebook, and Foursquare.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 1, 2009

Less than two years old, GeriCareFinder, Inc., has won the 2009 Best Interactive Award for their senior care Web site, http://www.GeriCareFinder.com.

GeriCareFinder.com won the gold award for “Best Interactive Site” in the 10th annual eHealthcare Leadership award competition, topping older and more established companies like the Mayo Clinic, Microsoft and Humana, Inc. More than 200 health care organizations’ websites competed for outstanding design, content and excellence, and 116 judges evaluated entries based on nearly 60 factors.

GeriCareFinder.com is a free consumer online resource for those trying to understand and select the kind of senior health care or service they need to help an aging loved one. Created as the web’s first and only single search for senior care GeriCareFinder.com especially helps those who know little about the complicated elder care industry.

“As we’re still building our business in many cities and senior care categories, we’re proud of this honor,” said Ron Kustek, President of GeriCareFinder, Inc. “We’re also grateful to the service & product companies and the many senior care providers who have already partnered with us on our website.”

GeriCareFinder.com organizes the senior health care world into three simply understood categories of “Care,” “Advisors” and “Products & Services” so that by zip code a person can easily find the type of care they need, or someone to help with legal & financial issues, or a safety product or helpful service which makes caring for the elderly easier.

“We were mostly recognized for our proprietary My GeriCare Workspace, one of our great online tools. In My GeriCare Workspace, visitors can work alone or with friends or siblings who may live thousands of miles away. People can securely locate the best senior care provider, advisor, product or service for seniors. They can also determine retirement savings, calculate long term care needs, identify social security contributions and even save calculations in order to help plan senior care needs,” Kustek said.

The award winners were honored last month at a special presentation in Las Vegas. eHealthcare Strategy & Trends is a leading internet resource published by Health Care Communications of New York.

GeriCareFinder.com’s Care category helps people locate home care, retirement homes & communities, CCRC’s assisted living, nursing homes, Alzheimer’s care and hospice services. Educator and Winner of ‘Best Philadelphian’ Award Praised by Actor Will Smith

Educator and Winner of ‘Best Philadelphian’ Award Praised by Actor Will Smith

Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) December 27, 2006

Will Smith, star of the hit new movie, The Pursuit of Happyness, praises Principal, Teacher and Chess Coach Salome Thomas-EL, for answering the call to serve young people in his foreword to Thomas-EL’s new book, The Immortality of Influence (Kensington – May 2006). Salome Thomas-EL, winner of Philadelphia Magazine’s 2006 Best Philadelphian Award, has helped hundreds of troubled children get into major high schools and universities. Yet, he stills finds himself devastated by the long-ago death of a promising young student named Willow Briggs. Thomas-EL worked with and encouraged the struggling boy, who ultimately became a top chess player and student. When he moved on to high school, he found no real positive influences and was murdered on a street corner at sixteen. Willow’s death launched Salome Thomas-EL on his mission to be a positive influence, and to encourage all of us to set the best example possible for the young people in our lives. Over 400 people have been murdered in Philadelphia this year, many of them young black males.

Salome Thomas-EL is also author of, I Choose To Stay (Kensington – March 2003), a best-seller written by the award winning teacher, mentor and father. His work has garnered the attention of Walt Disney Pictures, which has agreed to distribute a movie based on Thomas-EL’s life story. A humble yet dedicated educator, he revived the chess team of an inner-city Philadelphia middle school and led them to victory at the national championships. Thomas-EL is encouraged by Will Smith’s initial reaction to the movie project. Smith, a native of Philadelphia and a promising chess player, welcomed reading the script written by Don Scott (Barbershop movies). The Disney movie will be produced and directed by brothers Greg and Gavin O’Connor, at Solaris Entertainment. They were most recently teamed together with Disney for the hit, ‘Miracle,’ an inspirational movie about the 1980 Gold Medal winning USA Olympic Hockey team.

Thomas-EL frequently appears on the Fox News Channel, CNN, C-Span and NPR Radio. He has received the Marcus A. Foster Award as an outstanding school administrator and the University of Pennsylvania’s Martin Luther King Award. To highlight the importance of education and influence, Salome Thomas-EL has recently delivered keynote addresses at state conventions in Florida, New York, Texas, Minnesota and Ohio. Regarding Thomas-EL’s inspirational book, The Immortality of Influence, Will Smith states, “If you are not inspired to make a change in your community after reading this book, then you should read it again.”
